iWeb - 6.5'' Notebook - Transformer

What would be advanced, lightweight, compact and beautiful were not laptops and netbooks, one they will always lag behind the desktop, and it is - a full keyboard. I think few would argue with the fact that the printed text of 10-15 pages on a laptop is not so easy, then as a netbook, this procedure becomes suschuyu torture. The concept, proposed by designer Yang Yongchang is based on quite a successful idea: since we are dealing with a scanner, why not make a big crooked number? In fact, such solutions have been proposed in the concepts of external keyboards for the Tablet PC, in addition, collapsing real keyboard used in conjunction with the CPC in those days, when smart phones are not dragged to a consumer handheld computers. For example, if you implement this concept in any netbook, you can get quite a decent keyboard size of an average laptop. In turn, the netbook with such a design would have differed little from the desktop PC in terms of convenience of the press. More images after the jump...

iPad on TV

apple ipad tablet 3g

In fact it's expected that anywhere between 600,000 to 700,000 iPad units will be ready to ship in March alone with one more million units ready in April.

In related news we hear that iPad sales will commence on March 26 which seems pretty consistent with Steve Jobs' keynote held back in January. It also looks like Apple employees will start training on the the iPad this month and Cupertino will start promoting the iPad on TV. New iPad commercials are expected to start airing on March 15 and we'll bring them to you as soon as they hit the web.

These internal Apple plans, if proven correct, also suggest that the iPad launch is going according to schedule so maybe you won't have to wait in line for an Apple tablet after all.

Griffin Apple iPad Case and Sleeve

Considering that the iPad will only be available in stores on April 3, can we assume that there are indeed some iPad manufacturing problems? Earlier this week we heard that the iPad is coming on March 26 and now we know it's only coming a week later, on April 3.

In case you want to make sure you're going to get your hands on an iPad Wi-Fi version then you'd better pre-order yours starting with March 12.

In case you hate the iPhone then you won't probably get the iPad but you're bound to end up playing with a different tablet eventually. It's expected that in 2010 alone more than 10 million tablets will be sold. They won't be only Apple iPads.

Whatever happens, folks, make sure you do tell us exactly how you feel about the iPad once you finally get it delivered to your door.

iPad keyboard dock

iPad Keyboard Dock 3

In fact it appears that two potential popular accessories like the iPad keyboard dock and the USB power adapter will only be available at some point in May without ship actual dates available so far. What happened there, Cupertino? Are there any production delays we should know about?

Other accessories like the iPad dock and the dock connector to VGA adapter are ready to be ordered as they will be available on April 3 as scheduled. They both cost an extra $29 so make sure you budget is ready to take more iPad-related hits.

The iPad soft case should be available on April 3 but now we hear it will only arrive in mid-April. That's not necessarily bad news since third-party retailers are surely going to make all the cases you can think of to protect your iPad.

All in all the fact that Apple has decided to delay the iPad keyboard dock, regularly priced at $69, the USB power adapter, priced at $29 and the iPad case, priced at $39, will not exactly affect us. You might not require all these accessories in the first place and you'll be able to get some of them at a later point this year. In fact you'd be better off not buying them in the first place, at least not until you have decided whether you love the iPad so much it absolutely needs more accessories or that you want to immediately resell it.
